Yamaha APX1200 Electro Acoustic Guitar, Natural

Yamaha apx1200 natural

APX series, highly regarded for its playability on stage, is now available with all solid spruce and Studio Response Technology (SRT) system. In addition to the quick response and attack of APX, solid Rosewood of side and back gives rich sustain. New cosmetics, such as Mahogany wood binding, black button on tuning machine, and the position marks are abalone / mother of pearl arrows seen in SG3000 resulting in a high-end appearance.

The APX1200 offers enhanced aesthetics and the new revolutionary Studio Response Technology pickup system. A fresh concept in electrifying acoustics, utilizing a new sound modeling technique that breathes life into the long lost elements of string and body resonance, ambience, vintage microphone characteristics and pro micing techniques. All available directly through the guitars output jack, delivering the kind of natural, studio-quality acoustic guitar tone that guitarists have been dreaming of for years.

The APX1200 features Yamaha’s new System 62 preamp, powered by two AA batteries, which offers three-band EQ on mini rotary knobs, a three position switch for the microphone models and a Focus/Widepush button for the close/distance option. There is a Resonance control which as claimed dials in an even more realistic tone, and a five-band AFR (Auto Feedback Reduction) push button. The pre-amp control panel also includes a chromatic tuner operated by a push button which also mutes the output for silent tuning.
